Anthony is a self taught artist from the Co. Derry town of Maghera. He has always had a great interest in Art since age nine when he was a prize-winner in an Art competition for Schools in Mid-Ulster.
His love of angling is evident in his portrayals and visions of the seafaring life and fishing. With scenes depicting the hard life of a fisherman on the sea, to migrating salmon, he hopes to have captured some of the trials and tribulations of both the fisherman and the salmon, and of course, the sheer beauty of the Irish coastline. Anthony is a very promising artist who creates work which is original, expressive, and genuine.
